An early morning altercation left one woman wounded and her friend charged with aggravated assault.
Henry McCoy, 82, is accused of shooting Pamela Gunnels, 48, in the left forearm and left side during an argument at about 2:10 a.m. at 4221 Worsham Ave., according to a news release from the Macon Police Department.
Gunnels was taken to The Medical Center of Central Georgia and was in surgery early today. McCoy was booked into the Bibb Law Enforcement Center on a charge of aggravated assault family violence.
