Macon police investigate dog shooting

Macon police are investigating a report of a dog being shot on Ponce de Leon Circle.

According to the report, a man told police his dog went missing last Friday.

He later found the dog dead, having been shot in the neck and once in the chest. A witness told police the dog was shot by a youth who lives on Perdue Street.
