Travis Evans, Westside: Named the 2003 All-Middle Georgia Co-Player of the Year with A.J. Bryant. Named the consensus Class AAAAA Offensive Player of the Year as a senior. Rushed for 2,400 yards and 28 touchdowns to help lead the Seminoles to the semifinals as a senior. Rushed for 6,279 career yards, which is good for 12th all-time in Georgia. Named to the All-Middle Georgia first team in 2002 and 2003.
Daniel Harris, Brentwood: Three-time all-state player. Suffered a torn ACL three games into his senior season or would have likely been one of the few, if not the first, GISA players to receive all-state honors four years. Led team to two state championships, and he scored the game-winning touchdown with 46 seconds left to clinch the 2002 title. Rushed for 1,491 yards and 16 touchdowns as a freshman; 1,737 yards and 21 touchdowns as a sophomore; 1,185 yards and 11 touchdowns as a junior.
Jimmy Intorcia, Tattnall: Rushed for a school record 2,186 yards as a senior in 2006 helping to lead the Trojans to the state championship. Intorcia rushed for a school-record 326 yards against FPD in 2006. He is third on the school's career rushing list with 3,804 yards. All-state and all-star pick as a senior.
Colby Jackson, Trinity Christian: Arguably the best GISA running back ever, Jackson rushed for 2,597 yards and 42 touchdowns as a senior on 208 carries (12.5 yards per cary) in 11 games. Named to the all-state and all-star teams. Named the All-Middle Georgia GISA Player of the Year in 2007. Currently a freshman at N.C. State.
