Northside, Peach, Wilcox advance to state championships

Northside, Peach County and Wilcox County are once again headed to the Georgia Dome, this time to play for GHSA state titles.

Northside defeated Newnan 29-24 in the Class AAAAA semifinals and will face Camden County on Sat., Dec. 12 at 8 p.m.

Peach County edged Eastside in the Class AAA semifinals and will face Gainesville at 4:30 on Dec. 12.

Wilcox County topped Clinch County 20-14 in Class A and will play Savannah Christian Prep on Dec. 12 at 1 p.m.

Fitzgerald, the only other Middle Georgia school still playing this week, lost to Buford 38-28 in the Class AA semifinals.
