Macon man throws grill, microwave in early-morning argument

A man attacked a female acquaintance at her Felton Avenue apartment early Sunday, throwing a grill and a microwave oven through her window after she locked him out.

The altercation happened about 5 a.m. Sunday, according to a Macon police incident report. The 19-year-old victim told police the man tried to choke her, so she tried to stab him with a knife. He later left the apartment and the woman locked the door behind him.

Then she saw him trying to break her vehicle’s windows with a table leg. After that, he broke her kitchen window and threw a grill and a microwave oven into her apartment. Later, the man took a phone out of the victim’s hand while she tried to call police. A neighbor called police about that time.
