Former University of Georgia athletic director and coach Vince Dooley will be signing his book Thursday in Bonaire. Dooley will sell and sign his book, “Dooley’s Play Book,” from 4-6 p.m. at the new Kroger at 774 Ga. 96, according to a news release.

Dooley shares 34 of the most memorable plays during Bulldog football history spanning 80 years. Thirty-four was Herschel Walker’s football jersey number.

The book also includes a special section of great plays from each decade.

Dooley was the head football coach from 1964 to 1988, compiling a 201-77-10 record and winning six SEC championships and the 1980 national championship, the release stated. He took his team to 20 bowl games and served as athletic director from 1979 to 2004.
