Covington woman killed in Jasper County collision with Newton County deputy

A Covington woman died Tuesday in a collision with a Newton County deputy in Jasper County.

Paula Dobbs, 36, was driving a Honda Accord on County Line Road near Rocky Creek Road when the accident happened at about 3:15 p.m., according to a Georgia State Patrol accident report

The Georgia State Patrol is continuing to investigate the crash to determine how it happened but no information was immediately available about the condition of the deputy.
