A 23-year-old Macon man told police that three males in a red Dodge Neon pulled up to him Thursday night and demanded money when he exited a friend’s house on Beach Avenue.

The driver of the Neon drew a chrome automatic handgun and told the victim to “give it up,” according to a Macon police report.

The man who said he was robbed told police he gave the driver two $100 bills given to him by his grandmother. The men in the Neon subsequently drove away, and the victim ran home and called the police, according to the report.

The Beach Avenue man told police he did not know the three men, and they were not wearing masks.
