Gunmen rob McDonald's in Forsyth early this morning

Two gunmen wearing ski masks robbed the McDonald’s at 250 North Lee St. in Forsyth early this morning.

Between 4 a.m. and 4:45 a.m. the men came into the restaurant as workers were preparing to open and escaped with an undisclosed amount of money, said Police Chief Arthur Phillips.

The gunmen ran away, Phillips said.
