Teen charged with stealing motorcycle in Macon

A Macon police officer apprehended a 15-year-old male pushing a stolen motorcycle along Pierce Avenue just after midnight Wednesday.

The officer, who was off-duty at the time, noticed the teenager, investigated and determined the motorcycle had been stolen from 289 Pierce Ave., according to a police news release.

The teenager has been charged with theft by taking. The investigation is ongoing, and police have not released the name of the motorcycle’s owner or the teen.
