Suspect escapes Houston hospital

A man undergoing treatment after a fight with a Centerville police officer escaped from the Houston Medical Center on Sunday, authorities said.

Officers from Warner Robins, Centerville and the Houston County Sheriff’s Office searched the area Sunday night, but Dameon Thorpe, 22, was not found.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call their local law enforcement agency.
