Houston BOE reschedules budget meeting

The Houston County Board of Education has rescheduled today’s called meeting to 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the Eric P. Staples Building, the central office.

The board rescheduled the meeting because of the Saturday death of board member and former Chairwoman Pamela Greenway, said Beth McLaughlin, school system director of community and school affairs. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the school system budgets for fiscal years 2009 and 2010. The central office building is at 1100 Main St. in Perry.
