Parts of Centerville without water due to main break

Hundreds of people may have to skip a shower in Centerville this morning after a water main break.

A main break at the intersection of Houston Lake and Bassett roads has forced the city to shut off water to a large sector of the city near the Galleria Mall, said Sgt. Jim Adams of the Houston 911 Center.

People living in the Lexington Park Apartments and surrounding neighborhoods will be without water until repairs can be made, Adams said.
