The Atlanta Falcons re-signed quarterback Joey Harrington today after releasing him last week, according to a release sent by the team.
Harrington started 10 games last season, but lost the starting job several times throughout the year to Byron Leftwich -- who was released by the Falcons -- and Chris Redman -- who was re-signed at the start of the free agency period.
Harrington will likely compete with Redman and D.J. Shockley for the starting job, but the Falcons could pick up a rookie quarterback during April's NFL draft.
