Slow cooker overnight cranberry oatmeal

1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats (oatmeal)

3/4 cup dried cranberries

1 cup chopped, apple

2 cups water

Pinch of salt

Makes about 6 servings 1. Place oatmeal, cranberries, apple, water and pinch of salt in slow cooker. Cover and set on low temperature setting; cook 8 to 9 hours. Stir before serving. Add milk to taste.

Nutritional information (per servings): Calories 150 (less than 3 percent from fat), protein 5 g, carbohydrates 29 g, fat 1.5 g (saturated 0.1 g), no cholesterol, sodium 35 mg, fiber 4.8 g
