Northeast players sign with Virginia, Valdosta State

Two Northeast players signed college scholarships this morning.

Defensive back Javaris Brown honored his nearly eight-month long commitment by signing with the University of Virginia. Brown committed to Virginia in late June 2007. He never wavered.

Senior offensive lineman Everette Curtis decided on Valdosta State much later in the process. The 6-foot-6, 295-pound tackle committed to the Blazers a week before National Signing Day.
