Holiday closings

Banks: American Pride Bank, Bank of America, BB&T, Capital City Bank, MidSouth Federal Credit Union, RBC Centura Bank, Robins Federal Credit Union, SunMark Community Bank, SunTrust Bank and Wachovia will be closed Thursday. Atlantic Southern Bank will close at 2 p.m. today and will be closed Thursday. Central Bank of Georgia will be closed Thursday and Saturday. CB&T Bank of Middle Georgia and State Bank & Trust will be closed Thursday and at 2 p.m. Friday.

Government offices: Offices for the cities of Byron, Centerville, Forsyth, Fort Valley, Gray, Jeffersonville, Macon, Perry, Roberta and Warner Robins, as well as county offices in Bibb, Houston, Jones, Peach, and Twiggs will be closed Thursday and Friday.

Offices for Crawford and Monroe counties will close at noon today and will be closed Thursday and Friday.

The Department of Family and Children Services will be closed today, Thursday and Friday. The labor department and state courts will be closed Thursday and Friday. Federal agencies and federal courts will be closed Thursday.

Mail delivery: No delivery Thursday.

Garbage: Garbage routes in the cities of Byron, Fort Valley, Gray, Macon, Perry, Warner Robins and in the counties of Bibb, Crawford, Houston, and Peach will not run Thursday and routes will run a day behind.

Middle Georgia Regional Library: The library and branches will close at 6 p.m. today and will be closed Thursday. Houston County and Peach County libraries will be closed Thursday and Friday.
