The Baldwin County Sheriff’s office on Tuesday released some images taken from a convenience store video of a man who shot and killed a clerk while robbing the store last July 15.

Officials are seeking information on the suspect, described as a black male, about 6-foot and 170 pounds, in his early 30s. The suspect was wearing a blue Atlanta Braves cap, a gray T-shirt and black sweatpants and was seen fleeing the scene in a mid to late ’90s gold Toyota Camry.

The suspect entered the Lina Food Store, 2693 Irwinton Road, in Hardwick, just outside of Milledgeville and shot Dilipbhai Babubhai Patel, 51, officials said. Patel later died at the scene.

Sheriff’s officials are seeking help in identifying the gunman. Anyone with information about the case is asked to call the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office at (478) 445-4893 or (478) 445-2554, or call Macon Regional CrimeStoppers at (877) 68-CRIME.
