14-year-old held on attempted rape charges in restaurant attack

Macon police arrested on Friday a 14-year-old male, who has been charged with criminal attempt to commit rape.

The teen was arrested at 2:30 p.m. after a tip to Macon Regional CrimeStoppers led to his identification and arrest, according to a Macon police news release. Police arrested the teen at his residence on Anthony Circle.

Police said they’re not releasing any further information.
