Macon man arrested for copper theft

A Macon man accused of stripping copper from a home’s air conditioning unit was arrested Wednesday.

Terrell Eugene Booze, 47, was reported to police after a resident allegedly saw him stripping copper from an air conditioning unit of a Pineland Trail home, according to a police news release.

He is being held in the Bibb County jail on charges of criminal damage to property in the second degree and probation violation.
