A tractor trailer overturned at about 6 a.m. Friday blocking northbound lanes of Interstate 75 in Monroe County.
The Georgia State Patrol reports the accident happened near mile marker 173, which is just north of the Bass Road exit in Bibb County.
The 60-year-old driver survived the accident and was taken to The Medical Center of Central Georgia.
