Construction to close I-16 lane in Twiggs

Roadside repairs will close one lane on Interstate 16 eastbound in Twiggs County for a few days next week, according to the Georgia Department of Transportation.

One lane will be closed Monday through Wednesday near exit 9, which is Homer Chance Highway, the DOT said. The rest of the interstate should remain open.
