Driver’s license bureaus across the state, including the one in Macon, have new hours of operation starting today. They’ll still be closed Sundays and Mondays, but they will add new morning and evening hours.

A full list of locations and hours is also available online at www.dds.ga.gov. You also can change your address or replace a lost license online. Information can also be obtained by calling (866)754-3687, though you may have to wait on hold.

In Middle Georgia, the new hours will be:

For Macon, Warner Robins, Milledgeville and Dublin: from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays and 7:30 a.m. to noon Saturdays.

For Perry, Griffin, Thomaston and Cordele: from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays, closed Saturdays through Mondays.

For Dublin: from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and from 7:30 a.m. to noon Saturdays.

For Sandersville: from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays, closed other days.

In Macon, the new hours will give customers an extra four hours a week to visit the license center, which is located at Terminal Station downtown.
