The Macon Film & Video Festival announced some of its big-name guest stars for this year’s event. Vince Dooley, Karen Black and Carrie Preston are among the names the festival is bringing when it opens Feb. 18 at the Grand Opera House in Macon.

Preston, originally from Macon, currently is starring on the HBO series “True Blood,” while Black has had a long career in acting and will screen two of her films at MAGA. Dooley is the former coach and athletics director at the University of Georgia.

MAGA will be screening “Vince Dooley: Beyond Football,” a documentary about Dooley’s life beginning at 7 p.m. Feb. 18.

Dooley also will be participating in a question-and-answer session after the film.
