New stop signs will go up soon at the intersection of Liberty Church Road and Ga. 11/Ga. 49, which is also U.S. 41, in south Bibb county.

Signs for the four-way stop will be in place Wednesday, and cars will be expected to stop, according to the Georgia Department of Transportation.

Enforcement will begin Dec. 11, the DOT said. Message signs, barrels and cones will be in place at first to alert drivers about the stop signs.
