Lizzie Chapel Baptist Church will sponsor a free domestic violence awareness conference at the church, 1180 Bartlett St., from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. today.

A free continental breakfast will be held from 8:30 to 9 a.m. and the conference will end after lunch.

The theme is "One Less" and will focus on teaching youth how to make positive choices. There will be speakers from the district attorney's office, Volunteer Macon, Macon Rescue Mission, The Mentor's Project, Victim's Advocacy, Crisis Line and Lizzie Chapel pastor Ronald Toney.

Free hot dogs and pizza will be provided for youth and sandwiches and salads for adults. The event will also have prizes.
