Two Macon men have been charged with trafficking in marijuana after lawmen found more than 80 pounds of marijuana in a car parked at the Kroger on Zebulon Road, according to a Bibb County Sheriff's Office news release.

Tevis Kesean Poole, 27, and Billy Meyaski Poole, 34, were arrested Sept. 26 in a joint operation conducted by Bibb County deputies, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, the Monroe County Sheriff's Office and the Butts County Sheriff's Office, according to information released late Thursday.

The information was withheld for several days for further investigation, according to the Bibb County Sheriff's Office.

Information shared among the agencies led to the bust. The marijuana is estimated to have a street value of more than $200,000, according to the release.

Both men are being held at the Bibb County jail without bond, according to jail records.
