Occupation?: Owner of Rickz Fine Clothing, located at 100 North Houston Lake Blvd. in Warner Robins.

How long have you been in business?

I’ve been in business three years. I relocated my business from Macon to Warner Robins in December of last year.

What did you do before you opened Rickz Fine Clothing?

I was in car sales from 1990 to 2006. I left the business due to illness. This is what I always wanted to do. I saw a need for clothing of this type in the area.

What sets your store apart from other clothing retail stores in the area?

We carry specialty items such as ascots, bow ties, vintage ties and tailored suits. We can outfit a man from head to toe.

Why a clothing retail store?

I always liked clothes. I’ve always had my own style.

What’s your favorite outfit?

I like suits because I believe what you wear is what you attract. I like three-piece suits. I like the fact you can mix and match the accessories of a suit, the cufflinks, the shirt and the tie.

What do you think is a man’s most important accessory?

That would be coordination and neatness. No matter what he wears, those things matter.

What is one business aspect you’ve carried over from your last occupation?

Customer service. I treat people like I want to be treated. When people spend money, they want the salesman to show them service.

Where do you find your merchandise?

I visit an event called “Magic Marketplace” every year. It’s usually held in Las Vegas. All the celebrities with a suit line are there, people like Steve Harvey, Ruben Studdard and Sean “Puffy” Combs. It’s where all the fashion trends are showcased. I also attend other similar shows in the Atlanta area for merchandise.

Who is your favorite suit designer?

The best, Loriano.
