A fire engulfed at least half of a Warner Robins home Friday, according to the city’s fire department.

No one was at the residence, located at 303 Arrie Drive, at the time of the midday fire, said Assistant Chief Randy Davis.

Officials believe the fire started in the garage and moved to the attic. The roof above the garage burned off, and the rest of the home suffered heat, smoke, fire and water damage, Davis said.

“It’s uninhabitable,” he said.

The cause of the fire has not yet been determined and still is under investigation. No foul play is suspected, Davis said.
