Key moment

Caleb Sturgis made a 56-yard field goal late in the second quarter for Florida after Georgia had pulled to within 14-10.

“Caleb has a big leg, and that was an important kick in the second quarter, a big momentum boost for us,” Florida head coach Urban Meyer said.

Key decision

Quarterback Joe Cox’s throw at the start of the second half that was batted up in the air and intercepted by A.J. Jones. Florida scored shortly therefter to build a 31-10 lead.
