The Middle Georgia College men’s basketball team kept things close Thursday at seventh-ranked Tallahassee on Thursday, falling 104-96 in the Wing Zone Tip-Off Classic.
Middle Georgia trailed by five at halftime.
“To come down here and play this quality of a team close says a lot about our team,” Warriors head coach Scott Moe said. “We had some guys really step up for us (Thursday) and we’re hoping to bounce back with a win. I’m proud of the way our guys fought back. It shows a lot of character.”
Leading the way for the Warriors was Marcos Knight, who scored 25 points and grabbed six rebounds. Kori Forge scored 22 points, and Carl Hall added 19 points and eight rebounds.
