Wesleyan falls to Agnes Scott

Two first-half goals propeled Agnes Scott to a 3-0 victory over Wesleyan at the Mathews Athletic Complex on Saturday afternoon.

The Scotties scored twice in a nine-minute stretch midway through the first half to take the Great South Athletic Conference win and improve to 7-6-1 overall and 4-1 in the conference.

The Pioneers, who fell to 0-11 and 0-7, allowed just three goals despite surrendering 36 shots. Junior Emily Epperson added 18 more saves to her GSAC record total.

Wesleyan visits Agnes Scott today.
