GMC’s football team pulled away early Thursday to beat Valdosta State’s JV team 34-7.
Tobias Palmer capped off the first drive with a 6-yard score and Antonio Danzy hauled in a 36-yard pass from Chris Hart for the second. Carlos Ross capped off the scoring with a 7-yard run in the final two minutes.
Valdosta State scored on its first possession, but GMC stopped the Blazers’ next two drives by forcing turnovers. GMC freshman Antonio Mitchum scored on an interception.
