Ga. police officer faces DUI charge

KENNESAW, Ga. -- A Cobb County Police lieutenant has been charged with driving under the influence and other charges after a minor crash.

Police said Lt. Robert McGee of the Cobb County Police Department was driving under the influence of alcohol when he was involved in a hit and run crash Oct. 26 in Kennesaw.

McGee was charged with hit and run, DUI and following too closely, police said. He turned himself in and was processed through the Cobb County Adult Detention Center.
