A 54-year-old Macon man was carjacked Saturday night on Grosso Avenue by two armed men with hoods covering their faces, Macon police said.

The man told police he had gone to visit someone in the 400 block of Grosso Avenue at about 11:50 p.m. When he found that the person wasn’t home, he returned to his vehicle and was approached by the hooded men who were dressed in black, according to a police report.

One of the men pointed a gun at him and demanded money. The men then took the man’s 2004 Cadillac Deville and headed south on Grosso Avenue toward Mercer University Drive, according to the report.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at 751-7500 or Macon Regional CrimeStoppers at (877) 68-CRIME.
