A 13-year-old boy stabbed a man in the back after the man picked a lock and broke into a Mercer University Drive apartment Saturday night, according to Macon police.
No charges have been filed against the boy, whose name has not been released.
The boy’s mother told officers that her son called and told her he grabbed a large knife as the man rummaged through a drawer near the back door of their Villa West apartment, according to a police report.
At some point the man approached the boy and the boy stabbed him in the back, according to the report.
