A 24-year-old Milledgeville woman was killed this morning when her car struck a tree in Baldwin County, according to the Georgia State Patrol.
Cpl. Jeff Cain said Miranda Deal was driving on Montego Bay Road near Ga. 212 a little before 9 a.m. when her car ran off the road.
Deal overcorrected and ran off the road again, and her Honda Fit struck a tree, he said.
Cain said Deal was not wearing a seat belt.
The road was wet, and that may have played a factor in the wreck, he said.
