WARNER ROBINS — Four Bibb County teenagers are accused of multiple commercial burglaries in Warner Robins during a two-week crime spree in June, police said.
The teenagers, all boys ages 15 and 16, are being held in youth detention pending a hearing this afternoon in Houston County Juvenile Court, said Houston County sheriff’s Capt. Jerry Stewart, head of the sheriff’s juvenile division.
The teenagers are accused of stealing an undisclosed amount of cash and merchandise from six businesses, with one establishment burglarized four times, Warner Robins police Lt. Chris Rooks said.
The burglaries happened between June 15 and June 29, police said.
The businesses burglarized were Quick Stop convenience store at 218 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. on June 15, June 19, June 24 and June 25; Telepage at 207 Russell Parkway on June 25; Cuts by Us at 207 Russell Parkway on June 25, Papa John’s Pizza at 810 Russell Parkway on June 29, Radio Shack at 808 Russell Parkway on June 29, and Hibbett Sports at 2622 Watson Boulevard on June 29.
Also, the teenagers were charged with the theft of a 1997 Honda Accord from a Warner Robins apartment complex on June 29. The car was recovered the same day abandoned on Faubus Avenue in Macon.
