FORT VALLEY — Investigators are still on the scene of a home where two elderly women were killed today. Peach County Sheriff Terry Deese said investigators believe the women were stabbed to death at their home at 101 Daniel Drive.

The woman, Lillian Graves and her daughter, Agnes Stewart, were found by Graves’ grandson who came to the house at around 10:30 a.m.

Deese said the women were bleeding and their purses were on the floor with the contents spilled on the ground.

It is unknown if anything was taken from the house, Deese said.

There were no signs of a break in and the home’s alarm was deactivated at 6:30 a.m., Deese said.

Stewart is a retired Peach County High School teacher, according to a neighbor.
