Whitefield Academy opened the fourth quarter on an 8-0 run to pull away from Wilcox County for an 87-63 win on Wednesday in the GHSA Class A boys semifinals at the Macon Coliseum.
The Wolfpack (25-6) will play Turner County at 12:45 p.m. Saturday for the state championship.
Whitefield outscored Wilcox County 31-11 in the fourth quarter.
The Patriots were within two points near the end of the third quarter before Whitefield went on their run.
