GSP investigating bus accident in Houston County

The Georgia State Patrol is investigating an accident involving school bus accident on Ballyhara Drive off Ga. 96 in Warner Robins.

At about 7:40 a.m. the Perry post received a call about the accident but no further information was immediately available as the trooper was still on the scene.

Houston County public school spokeswoman Beth McLaughlin said no students were on board the bus when it collided with another vehicle. The driver was between the middle and high school routes and was about to start picking up elementary students, McLaughlin said.

No one was hurt in the accident and another bus was sent to begin picking up elementary students that normally rode the bus that was involved in the wreck.
