John McCain supporters will hold a rally Thursday at the Cox Capitol Theatre to announce the campaign's latest leadership team in Georgia: Georgia Women for McCain.
The event starts at noon at the theater, which is located at 382 Second St. downtown, according to a campaign press release. It will be held in conjunction with similar events in Savannah, Augusta and Columbus, as well a town hall meeting with senior campaign economic advisor and former Hewlett-Packard CEO Carly Fiorina.
The town hall meeting starts at 10 a.m. at the Atlanta Hilton, located at 255 Courtland St. NE in downtown Atlanta. Georgia First Lady Mary Perdue and state GOP Chairwoman Sue Everhart will also be there, according to the campaign.
At the events, leaders of the Georgia Women for McCain group will be announced. These rallies follow rallies earlier this week to announce veterans working on the campaign and an event last week to formally name state politicians to campaign leadership posts.
