Trucker killed in I-16 accident
The Georgia State Patrol is investigating an accident on Interstate-16 that killed the driver of an 18-wheeler.
Investigators are trying to determine how the truck wound up down a gully in the median in Laurens County, said a Georgia State Patrol spokesman.
The exact time of the accident is also a mystery as a passerby noticed the wreckage and alerted authorities early this morning.
The Laurens County E-911 Center refused to release the time of that call and the identity of the driver has not yet been released.
