Looking for upscale dining in downtown Milledgeville? Aubri Lanes brings high-end food with some high-end prices to go with it. But no matter if you’re looking for brunch, lunch or dinner, Aubri Lanes serves it all.

The lunch at Aubri Lanes is relaxed, but still expect to see well-dressed business lunchers catching their mid-day meal. Aubri Lanes has a special sandwich section only for lunch, featuring selections such as the Cuban, $8, a Prime Rib Sandwich, $9, the Buckhead Angus Burger, $9.50, and the Shrimp or Oyster Po-Boy for $8.

They have a She Crab Soup for $4 a cup and $6 a bowl, and a soup of the day for $3 a cup and $5 a bowl.

I had a tomato basil soup that was flavored right but slightly cold. You could pair that soup with a half or whole salad. I had the Aubri Lanes Salad with raspberry vinaigrette. Aubri Lanes makes their dressing homemade fresh, so expect the best from this vinaigrette.

They have some additional meals that are also exclusive to lunch.

The Chicken Alfredo, $10, is a good choice if you’re in the mood for pasta. It comes with a sun dried tomato cream sauce that brings that little extra Aubri Lanes is known for. They also have a Fish ’N Chips, $8, with a jalapeño tartar sauce and the Calamari Tacos dressed with a cucumber yogurt sauce for $6.

Dinner also has some interesting entrees for your enjoyment. For a starter, the Hot Damn Shrimp, $9, is an excellent choice. Don’t be scared off by the name; the shrimp does have a bite, but it’s not as hot as the name suggests. They also have fried oysters, $8, crab cakes, $10, and calamari for $8.

The Crab Soup is also a star on the dinner menu, and they have four salads to choose from: the Aubri Lanes Salad and the Garbage Salad, each $6 or $9, the Spinach Salad, $5 or $8, and the Wedge, $5 or $8. The Wedge is named after its appearance. The Iceberg Lettuce is cut in the shape of a wedge and served with blue cheese crumbles and dressing.

They also have two sandwich choices for dinner, the Buckhead Beef Burger and the shrimp or oyster Po-Boy.

For their dinner pasta choices they have Romano Crusted Chicken, $16, and the Fra Diablo, which is a Cavitappi pasta and a basic spicy marinara, with the choice of shrimp, $16, or chicken, $14. Other entrees include the Pecan Crusted Carolina Trout, $18, Lemon Caper Chicken, $16, and a Filet Mignon for $28.

Aubri Lanes is one of the only Sunday brunch spots in Milledgeville.

I enjoyed the Pecan Cinnamon Rolls, $6.20 for two. The rolls were flavored good but were slightly cold. I also have had the Aubri Lanes Breakfast, $8. The eggs tasted like home and the bacon also impressed. However the potatoes were weak and could’ve been flavored better.

No matter your meal of choice, Aubri Lanes has an interesting menu ready to entertain your taste buds. I promise you won’t regret it in the morning.
