Warner Robins Area Chamber of Commerce to host flu prevention seminar

The Warner Robins Area Chamber of Commerce is hosting a flu prevention seminar at noon Nov. 14 at the chamber office, 1228 Watson Blvd.

The lead panelist at the session, called The Flu and You: Pandemic Prevention and Preparedness for Small Business, will be Brian Fern, executive director of the Houston County American Red Cross.

Organizers said the session will provide facts about preventing and preparing for a pandemic outbreak.

Cost is $10 for chamber members and $25 for nonmembers. Lunch will be provided. Those wishing to attend are asked to e-mail Donna Scott at dscott@warner-robins.com by 5 p.m. Monday.
