A 37-year-old Macon man was charged with criminal attempt to commit murder June 10 on allegations he stabbed his boyfriend last month inside the kitchen of a Second Street home, according to Bibb County jail records. <b>Derrick Bernard Dorsey</b>, of Shealy Street, also was charged with a parole violation, according to jail records. Witnesses told Macon police they heard 35-year-old Remondrell Martin and Dorsey talking about 12:10 a.m. May 16 and then heard Martin scream, according to a police report. Martin was stabbed in both shoulders and three times in the back. He told police he was talking to Dorsey about his life decisions, according to the report. Martin also told police he had kicked Dorsey out of the house a few days earlier on allegations he was stealing and was on drugs, according to the report.
